ISA International Sign Expo® 2027 Call for Speakers is officially OPEN to all interested applicants.

Do you have fresh ideas, smart strategies, or real-life lessons to energize and inform your fellow sign and graphics professionals? ISA Sign Expo 2027 is your opportunity to share what works, what inspires, and what’s next.

2027 Preferred Topic Areas

Our sessions are shaped by real-world challenges and innovations in the sign and graphics industry. Based on current trends and feedback from attendees, we are prioritizing sessions in the following topic areas:

General Business: Leadership, operations, and strategic growth.

Manufacturing & Fabrication: Materials, equipment, and production techniques.

Human Resources & Onboarding: Talent development, inclusive workplaces, and onboarding best practices.

Design: ADA compliance, creative tools, and visual communication strategies.

Project Management: Workflow optimization, risk mitigation, and cross-functional collaboration.

Session Format Types

Classroom Session

Classroom Sessions

Sessions are 60 minutes, typically delivered in a classroom-style or panel-style format, and presented by one or more speakers along with a supplemental presentation. These sessions are the core of our paid education program.

Workshop (Half-Day or Full-Day)

Workshops

Workshops are immersive 4-hour or 8-hour sessions offering hands-on learning and deeper engagement with expert presenters. Workshops are often held before the trade show opens.

Submission Requirements

Submissions MUST include the following information:

Speaker Information

  • Speaker contact information.
  • Short speaker bio.
  • Headshot: We recommend a photo that is at least 1000 x 1000 pixels to ensure it appears clearly on our website and mobile app.

Session Information

  • Session Title: Write a concise, creative, and descriptive title (max 255 characters) that clearly communicates what the session will cover.
  • Session Description: Provide a detailed description of the information that will be covered during your session or workshop.
  • Learning Outcomes: Provide 1-3 learning outcomes that attendees will take away and apply to their daily work.
  • Session Format: Select the type of session you’re submitting from ISA & SRF Session, Half-Day Workshop, or Full-Day Workshop.
  • Category/Topic: Select 1-3 categories or topic areas that best fit your session idea.
  • Audience Experience Level: Select the required experience level for attendees to maximize the value from your session.
  • Audience Type: Indicate the audience type best suited for your session.

Additional Information

  • Honorarium request and amount, if any.
  • Expense coverage request, if any.
  • LinkedIn profile URL (optional).
  • Secondary Contact Information: If someone will be assisting you with speaker tasks and coordination, submit their contact information so they receive communications.

When submitting your session idea, you’ll select the experience level attendees should have to get the most value from your session:

  • Introductory (1-3 years in the industry)
  • Intermediate (3-7 years in the industry)
  • Advanced (7-10 years in the industry)
  • Expert (10+ years in the industry)

A notification of your proposal’s status will be sent by the end of September 2026. We hope you will attend even if your proposal is not selected, but please hold the show and preconference dates of March 31-April 2, 2027 (Pre-Conference March 30), until you are notified of your proposal status.

To preserve the integrity of our educational experience for our attendees, ISA has a policy of not selling products or services during presentations.

Yes, if you don’t already have a Sessionboard account, you will need to create one to submit your session idea.

As part of the session submission process, speakers may request expense coverage and an honorarium. Requests are not guaranteed and will be given at the discretion of ISA on a case-by-case basis.

ISA Sign Expo attracts those working in the sign, graphics, visual communications, and printing industry, including fabricators, installers, manufacturers, designers—and so much more! Attendees come to the show to explore the latest trends and equipment and to learn and grow from the top leaders in our industry.
