Do you like signage and wayfinding? Do you like children's books? Do you wish you had a children's book to share with your kids that highlights this awesome field? “Signs Have Much to Say” is a brand new children's book that communicates the importance of signage and wayfinding in a poem about a girl and her dog. In the story, they go on a fun-filled adventure and use signage and wayfinding to guide them along the way which is showcased across many colorful illustrations.

The author, Lauren Stern, will share her inspirations for writing the book and discuss the process to go from a simple line of text, to a description of a scene, to a wireframe, and all the way to a finished scene! Lauren will also discuss how she recruited 21 members of the signage design community as sponsors to contribute to the development of this self-published book (and how they are highlighted in the book).

Finally, Lauren will share a few of her favorite pages from the book! Books and specialty sticker sheets showcasing cute signage characters from the book will be made available for purchase at the end of the session. Also, Lauren will sign books for attendees that purchase a copy of the book. If you would like to learn more, please visit www.signshavemuchtosay.com.
