Ryan Strowger, CEM, Joins the International Sign Association as VP, Trade Shows and Meetings

The International Sign Association has named Ryan Strowger, CEM, as its new vice president of trade shows and meetings. Strowger attended the recently concluded ISA International Sign Expo 2024 in Orlando, Florida, and will join ISA full-time in June.

“ISA has a solid reputation for putting on terrific events,” Strowger said. “But that does not fully convey just what an amazing experience ISA International Sign Expo is. I was so pleased to see a vibrant show fostering an engaged community. I look forward to helping ISA, ISA Sign Expo and the sign, graphics and visual communications industry grow through events.”

Strowger comes to ISA from Optica, formerly The Optical Society, where he was chief events and corporate engagement officer. During his tenure, he led Optica's conference programming, event logistics, event marketing, corporate membership and sales and sponsorship responsibilities and oversaw the organization's 25-30 topical conferences and major exhibitions. Before joining Optica, he held positions at the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions and the Consumer Technology Association.

“We are thrilled to have Ryan join ISA as we begin planning for ISA International Sign Expo 2025,” said Lori Anderson, ISA president and CEO. “He brings significant trade show experience and a fresh eye to ISA International Sign Expo. He will help us capitalize on the momentum coming out of a dynamic and energetic 2024 so that next year will be even more amazing.”

ISA International Sign Expo 2025 will be April 23-25 in Las Vegas, Nevada, with pre-conference education on April 22.
